Description
Ty Canol is a stone terraced cottage situated in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. There are many lovely drives, walks and designated cycle rides direct from the cottage and there are beautiful scenic mountain drives. The area is also ideal for hiking and dog walking. The tumbling river Machno runs through the village.and a river walk is a short walk away.
Ty Canol is a stone terraced cottage situated on the edge of a small village in the Snowdonia National Park. It has two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge/ diner, bathroom and separate toilet. There is a cosy open fire, electric heating (first £15 included) and full facilities for up to four people. There is a double bedroom with double bed and a twin room with two full size single beds.(All bed linen is included) There is a small patio and a large enclosed grassed garden overlooking fields and mountains. The area is ideal for dog walking but do be aware of sheep in the area.(Please note there is an extra charge of £12 per pet).
Penmachno is a small pretty village with a pub which serves food at weekends. The beautiful village of Betws y Coed with its restaurants, shops, waterfall and railway is situated about four miles away. Penmachno is on a bus route which links with the Snowdonia Mountain Sherpa bus route and the Festiniog steam railway.
For adventure lovers Surf Snowdonia is within 20 miles, (see surf Snowdonia web site) and Bethesda has the longest zip wire in Europe. For other adventure lovers, there is white water rafting, high wire adventures near Betws y Coed and underground trampoline and zip wire facilities at Festiniog.
